Also the new restaurant LAB for a unique gastronomic experience with a laboratory-inspired menu and modern Italian at Il Mercato. For children there is a special area dedicated to activities just for them, and a brilliant Kids’ Club program with indoor and outdoor games.

There are six restaurants and two bars (some seasona) to enjoy during your stay at Penha Longa Resort.
Arola
Arola’s menus offer a creative and contemporary twist to Portuguese and Spanish cuisine. Food is available throughout the day and for dinner Arola’s take on the Portuguese and Spanish tapas will compete with the more elaborate main courses. Wines will be served from a glass cellar, situated mid-restaurant. An informal and contemporary atmosphere accompanied by a live Dj from Wednesday to Sunday.
il Mercato
il Mercato Restaurant is all about using the freshest and finest quality ingredients to create simple yet unique dishes distinctive from normal Italian cuisine. The chef specialises in using little known and delicious food and wine products from all across Italy's twenty regions. A selection of Italian wines and home-made and imported food is available at our Gourmet shop inside the restaurant. Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Midori
Recently refurbished Midori Restaurant has a contemporary feel and magnificent views of the surrounding Sintra hills and Penha Longa. Enjoy Sushi Buffet on Wednesday's with its amazing teppanyaki, sushi and sashimi selection, and Midori Buffet on Saturdays, where the best of Japanese cuisine is offered. Open from Tuesday to Saturday.
B Lounge
The latest refurbishment at the Penha Longa Resort, cool yet sophisticated, this newly transformed area complements the other outlets and provides a relaxed dining alternative, where truly American Hamburgers reign supreme.
Aqua
The poolside restaurant, open throughout the summer, offers the finest Portuguese cuisine prepared on an open grill. This setting, by the side of the infinity pool, is enhanced by views of the Atlantic course and the Natural Reserve.
LAB by Sergi Arola
The most recent restaurant to open at Penha Longa Resort by the awarded Catalan Chef, inspires the union in between fresh ingredients, exclusive gastronomy and a laboratory where all the components are aligned to enhance a unique culinary experience. The restaurant hosts 22 seats and more than 550 worldwide wines displayed in a magnificent glass adega.
Childcare
Children are welcome at the Penha Longa Resort, and there is a dedicated kids' club and babysitting available (upon request).
Kids' Club
For children aged between five and 12 years, the Penha Longa Kids' Club has lots of toys and games for the children to play and learn. Pirates and Treasures, picnics and camping, painting and cinema, cooking classes and fashion nights, pyjama parties and horse riding. The kids club is only available in high season and there is a fee to apply.
