Disappointed about lack of general information about facilities on offer.Service/staff excellent in hotel area. Would have liked to have had a more relaxed eating area i.e. buffet type meals for lunches and dinner Overall the ambiance and hotel complex was lovely and relaxing although the walking around all the slopes/steps posed a bit of a problem even though we are reasonably fit 75+year olds!!

Dear Sheree and others in the Travelbeam team, I am just back from two weeks in Tenerife (20 September – 4 October, one week in Ritz-Carlton Abama and the other in Bahaia del Duque). This was the first time I booked through Travelbeam following recommendations from UK travellers. Sheree from Travelbeam handled my booking. She was very attentive and made sure to thoroughly understand my expectations and was super patient! The booking went smoothly, and so did the changes I made to it later. Both hotels were wonderful making this the most restful holiday I have had in years! I will definitely be booking again with Travelbeam. Amazing hotel – fantastic facilities for the whole family and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I’d definitely recommend this hotel. From the spa to the pools to the restaurants, it really has everything you need for a relaxing holiday but plenty of activities available if you’d like to do more.

We booked fairly last minute and were allocated the 4 rooms together which was great. The rooms are in need of a refurb, appearing not to have been done for some time. Nothing wrong, but nothing with a wow factor either. Food: Mexican decent, Japanese: Everyone liked but service was a bit “in your face.” Sua – we all hated. Huge bones within meat, very offputting. You could say typically Spanish, but if the customers don’t like it, it’s time to rethink. Pool area service a bit hit and miss. You can’t see the staff. Towel service was good, beds were wet/damp from the night before as the bases are a sponge type. We did get replacements when we asked. Staff friendly, just not as efficient as many 5 stars.

A stunning hotel..I stayed here a good few years ago and I didn’t really remember it but the hotel is truly amazing. From the staff to the restaurants to the pool. Really faultless.The option to walk out the back gate to go to other nearby restaurants and to go shopping was really fantastic.The room was probably the best I’ve ever stayed in.After this holiday I will definitely not go anywhere else. This hotel is superb and you will find it hard to get a better one.

Very pleasant. Doesn`t feel as large as it is or as full because of the way it is broken down into smaller buildings and with many interconnected outdoor spaces. It feels like a Spanish version of Portmeirion. Most buildings are based on historical precedents from the canaries and as a result it feels like being in a small hill town rather than a large hotel. There are many pools of different sizes and shapes giving lots of opportunties for different ages and capabilities. Food is excellent with so many restaurants around and even the main buffet has surprisingly high quality food with substantial changes each night. Breakfast excellent. Staff are uniformly cheerful polite and helpful and clearly well trained. We thought the overall experience was probably five star. Particularly suitable for young children and we saw many families like ours with three generations. The evening entertainments were very varied and professional capable of keeping both small children and adults happy. It was suitably quiet in the late evening. Rooms we had all well appointed and with good views. They are however quite small. It is near a nice small street and shopping area as well as beach with pleasant walks around. Only 20 minutes from airport and yet no aircraft noise. Overall it was ideal for our three generation family holiday. I`m sure we would return with a similar group. Rosie and I usually holiday in the Far East, particularly Malaysia. The quality there in five star hotels is higher with more for older adults, but this was ideal for this group.

Great hotel. We had room 715 with a wonderful balcony and view. Staff were excellent. The hotel is well located on the seafront with plenty of restaurants outside the hotel to choose from. We will go back.
