This far-eastern styled retreat, a Leading Hotel of the World, offers a complete Asian experience in the heart of the Mediterranean. The Asian-inspired landscaped gardens, waterfalls, infinity pools, aromatic flowers and private stilt houses make you feel like you have been transported to an exotic world.

Bali-esque rooms are modern in style and sport a spectrum of natural colours, some even boast thatched roofs and the luxury bathrooms have huge tubs and rainforest showers set in charcoal slate.

There are several heated pools (including a baby pool and an adults-only pool with two heated year round) set on three different levels with many quiet areas to choose from amongst stunning exotic vegetation littered with streams and waterfalls. The Thai spa is really special with access to the gardens directly onto terraces from your treatment room (some are outdoor cabins on stilts) with expertly trained Thai therapists on hand to revive you with a special focus on the body’s ten key energy channels. There is a gym with yoga and Thai Chi classes with professional instructors. Keen golfers will find two championship golf courses very close to the hotel.

Dining is superb with Asian fusion cuisine in the delicious Koh Samui restaurant, contemporary cooking at In Black, or the newly opened Lombocci serving delicious Italian. For evening entertainment live blues or jazz music is available (seasonal) in some of the chilled bars.

In the surrounding area there are some of the finest white sandy beaches in the Costa Blanca whilst you can enjoy mountain activities such as horse riding and jeep safaris. Additionally, thrill seekers will love the nearby Terra Mitica and Terra Natura theme parks which are some of the best in Europe. There are also some quaint local villages and a lovely marina only five minutes away by car.

Great service and lovely helpful staff, beautiful setting especially the gardens. Rooms are well appointed, impressive lobby. Food is good, buffet gives you a lot of choice. The views are a little blighted by Benidorm!
