Immersed amid ancient olive groves of the Itria valley, Borgo Egnazia is a luxurious castle-like retreat with a contemporary twist. The resort gives an intimate vibe as its built in the style of a Puglian village. Nestling amongst jasmines and flowers, and crafted from stone gives it a dreamy and tranquil atmosphere.

The main building, La Corte, showcases light contemporary rooms and suites within a beautiful complex. The Borgo village area is home to exquisite townhouses. Many have Arabian gardens and roof top terraces, offering views of the Adriatic Sea. Three-bedroomed private villas come with their own pool and garden nestled within the village.

Borgo Egnazia’s facilities have a particular emphasis on children, with its dedicated pool and vibrant adventure playground. The Trullalleri Kids’ Club, and the Tarantari and Marinai Teens Club offers plenty entertainment while the adults relax. The hotel also offers its amazing soccer academy, cooking classes, sport activities and dance contests, with lots more to explore.

There are a further two pools in La Corte and just steps away is a gorgeous little sandy beach, La Fonte. The hotel is located adjacent to the 18-hole championship San Domenico Golf course. Furthermore, it boasts four tennis courts and an on-site cooking school. A fully-equipped water sports centre is also set on Borgo Egnazia’s private beach, Cala Masciola.

Gourmands will be delighted with the resort’s superb restaurants, from the cosy and rustic La Frasca to the Michelin star awarded Due Camini gourmet restaurant with its well-stocked cellar. We really love the warm, attentive and polished service which is typically Italian.

Borgo Egnazia introduces the Vair Spa is an innovative and modern wellness spa, nestled in Puglia’s enchanting natural surroundings. Offering treatments based on popular local traditions and ancient natural remedies, you can also step inside to enjoy its splendid array of high-end facilities.

If you’re feeling energetic, hire a bike and cycle along the stone alleyways on-site or further afield to take in the exquisite Italian landscapes. Alternatively, take a day out exploring the Puglia’s quaint hamlets and hilltop towns, including the UNESCO World Heritage site, Alberobello.

Beautiful family retreat perfectly coupling Italian sophistication with a very warm welcome for children. We had a wonderful time with our two very small children who were made very welcome across the hotel.
