IKOS Porto Petro is a beautiful, pristine resort with the best staff who make your stay special.
The array of restaurants, fitness / activity options, pool areas and beach coves provide a perfect range to suit whatever you may be looking for; the Beach Club being a firm favourite for us during the day. Whilst we couldn’t fault any of the staff in the bars, restaurants, Spa or even those driving you to and from places in buggies there was a lack of communication between the concierge team in the back office. This often caused confusion and delays with contradictory information being shared. The only saving grace was Iliana on the Concierge Team. Trying to find out if / what the hotel had organised for my sister’s Birthday was like getting blood out of a stone and when the day came it was hugely delayed (cake at 10pm!).
The staff on the reception desks were not overly helpful throughout our stay either. However a BIG thanks and special shout out to Mario, Fortini, Goncalo, Julia and Cyanna in the Beach Club Restaurant, Dimitri and Kristina in the Beach Club Bar, Monica, Johanna and Nico in Oliva, Joseph in Seasons, Emmanuel and Ervin in Anaya, Frida in the Lobby Bar, especially Hisham on the buggies along with Raul and Lawrence and Christina (and the gentleman on reception) in the Spa.
If you’re looking for a bolthole where you don’t have the leave the comfort of your resort with everything taken care of, this is the place for you.

The hotel room and food were good but the resort was so big it required buggies to get around, the problem was you could sometimes wait some time to get a buggy.
There were a lot of young children there, and whilst there were some adult only areas, they were relatively small and invariably busy.
The staff were pleasant but they asked for feedback, we told them the above re the buggies etc and it was dismissed out of hand.
An ok experience, certainly not bad, but I doubt we will return.
