Windjammer Landing, which has recently seen a major refurb, blends in seamlessly against the hillside landscape of St Lucia offering a really authentic and vibrant Caribbean experience. The 65-acre resort is set on a hillside on the North-West coast of the island. Located on a very secluded beach, the resort offers six sparkling swimming pools, an excellent water sports centre with a dive centre and a fabulous spa with weekly outdoor yoga classes.
There are many accommodation choices with quite of few villa options. This year the property added Ocean Point Residences which a private infinity pool and modern styling. The interiors boast a modern décor with fresh white walls and splashes of colour, combined with elegant furnishings and Gilchrist & Soames bath amenities.
All rooms and villas have amazing views of the ocean or the stunning mountains. For couples we recommend the Oasis guestroom, with stunning scenic ocean views whilst for families, the Coastline two-bedroom suites allow lots of space.
Windjammer has a large range of dining options for guests all served by efficient, friendly staff and warm St. Lucian hospitality. The Upper Deck is a wonderful fine dining experience, serving grilled dishes with a mesmerising view overlooking the moonlit beach. If you would like a more laid-back atmosphere at lunch time, Embers with Indian cuisine serves a more relaxed fare. The beach front Jammer’s is open for lunch and dinner and offers casual dining with a stunning view of the ocean. Once a week you can enjoy a party inspired by local influences complete with live music and entertainment.
For the little guests there’s some great activities in the excellent kids’ club such as pizza parties, coconut bowling and dance lessons. In the local area there’s sightseeing opportunities such as an aerial tram over the rainforest or a trip to see the world’s only drive-in volcano.
