The hotel is very grand, spacious and very well kept…

I stayed at Princesa Yaiza in mid April 2018 with my husband and 3 year old twins. The private pick up from the airport which was organised from Travelbeam was seamless and they had car seats fitted in ready for the kids. The hotel is very grand, spacious and very well kept. Check in was easy with a nice welcome drink after such an early flight. The person who took us on the tour of the hotel along the way to our rooms was very friendly and helpful and ensured we knew where all the facilities were for the kids etc. The big soft play for the kids was brill and perfect as we could drop the kids off for a short time whilst we went and sat round the pool for half an hour. There was plenty of activities going on all day at the Kiko club too, but only went couple of times. As there was so many pools it gave guests the option, however at this time of year I found that the pools were too cold. The heated ones were better however the wind meant that it was very cold as soon as you got out.
The rooms had everything we needed as we opted for a two bedroom, two bathroom family suite with a balcony looking over the pool. I wouldnt say the rooms are 5* however there was absolutely nothing wrong with them and were spacious and cleaned very well. All the staff were very friendly and happy and smiley towards us and the kids. They never batted an eyelid when a tantrum erupted! We opted for the Half Board Deluxe option which we couldn`t fault! We were allowed to use all 7 restaurants in the hotel (3 buffet & 4 Ala Carte) which meant that it was not the same thing for me and my husband every night, and meant that we could try some new foods on the kids! The standard of the food was very good especially when your dealing with overtired 3 year olds at the dinner table. Isla de Loba & the Japanese Restaurant I would definitely recommend and would visit again if we were there. The beach in front of the hotel was nice and good for building sand castles on. Not too busy and clean.
