Restaurants are excellent including the super-trendy F Restaurant with fusion cuisine. There is a large indoor heated pool, children’s paddling pool with slides and a gym with a treatment room. Sports facilities include water sports such as scuba diving, waterskiing and wind surfing and there are five floodlit tennis courts and a basketball and volleyball court.

These stylishly furnished and nicely laid-out rooms (approx. 26m²) offer a charming side view of the Cretan waters. They are composed of one bedroom with a twin or Queen sized bed, marble-lined bathroom and a private balcony.

These bungalows (approx. 35m²) are composed of a bedroom with a Queen-size bed, an open-plan living room designed with a large marbled-lined bathroom with a bathtub as well as a shower cabin. The deluxe bungalow accommodation has a veranda with a patio and is located in the picturesque garden area close to the swimming pool.

This exceptional space (approx. 55m²) offers a complete feeling of comfort and style and is composed of one bedroom with separate or open plan living room spacious enough to accommodate an extra person. Includes one or two en-suite luxury bathrooms with a TV, Jacuzzi bathtub, separate shower cabin, & steam bath. Some of them have a modern gym equipment. The comfort of the suites pours onto an exquisite private balcony and offers majestic, view of Mirabello Bay.

Executive Bungalow Suite Side Sea View

These bungalows (approx. 60m²) have it all - the verdant gardens they are surrounded by, the main nearby swimming pool and a view of the sea. With an emphasis on sheer comfort throughout, they are composed of a bedroom with a Queen-sized bed, a separate living room and two bathrooms (a large modern bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub and individual shower cubicle, and a WC with a shower). Some Executive Bungalows also feature a kitchenette to facilitate your daily needs. The graceful veranda has a private patio, perfect for entertaining friends or relaxing with a real and exclusive sense of space.

Elounda is in a very attractive setting and is a high quality resort. The resort staff were amongst the friendliest and most obliging we have come across. The resort occupacity seemed low (c.40%?) for early July and the staff were surprised and concerned by this, and did not really understand why the visitor numbers were down. On the other hand that also meant that they were keen that the guests present received everything they needed. The resort reduced its prices for meals and drinks by 10% during our stay to stimulate more demand. We booked a side sea view room. These rooms need updating and its probably worth paying the premium for a refurbished, full sea view room. Unfortunately the flights were painful. >3 hours late arriving and similar returning. Its not clear that Heraklion airport can cope with summer volumes.
