Fantastic holiday - we loved the hotel and would definitely like to go back another time. Great for the kids, lovely food, wonderful pool - the only dissapointing thing was the beach (nobody's fault!) . Staff were v friendly and efficient, everything was clean - just heavenly!

The Columbia Resort was excellent. Even though it was not designed with disabled people in mind ,it was never a problem for us to get the buggy to transport us around the resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was definitely the nicest holiday we have had.

Truly a great holiday. The Colubia Beach Resort was well up to expectations with excellent friendly and polite management and staff. All arrangements including pick-up at the airport went well although we cannot comment on flights etc, as we booked these ourselves. The food was exceptional and we were especially pleased with our half-board agreement. The atmosphere, food and staff attention at the Appolo Taverna restaurant was particularly good and on the couple of occasions we dined at the top 'Dionysos' restaurant for a supplement, the quality and attention was second to none. The pool and its maintenance is the best we have encountered although on occasions, noisy children (usually British!) and we suspect a few interlopers from the neighbouring hotel, spoilt the tranquility. The beach itself was a little disappointing with too many stones and seaweed to make swimming there comfortable and whilst the lovely gardens were beautifully kept, limitations to their access because of a few private functions, wedding receptions etc, was a bit of an infringement. otherwise, a magnificent holiday that we will definitely be repeating.

An excellent hotel and spa. The local area was too quiet and a little run down.

I thought the hotel was excellent . The staff were very friendly and the level of service very good. The pool was superb and the weather was brilliant which obviously helpful . The hotel was well placed to access many excellent restaurants . My only slight criticism was that the spa treatments were very expensive.

The hotel rooms are a little dated, mismatched furniture and a strange kitchenette with no equipment, so just took up a lot of space for no reason. TV channels limited especially little for children, which is strange given it's a family hotel. The hotel was advertised as having a kids club but this was closed until the Saturday despite there being plenty of children who would have utilised it. The food was very good, although I may have felt differently if hadn't been on complimentary half board as not especially cheap. Spa excellent. The beach was disappointing but the pool area was excellent. Superb attention to cleanliness in all areas, a really well run hotel.

We thought that the Columbia Beach Resort was wonderful. The food was excellent and the staff were charming. We would highly recommend premium half-board. It was very child friendly without being a "family hotel" with the horrors that can sometimes bring. The hotel is of a 5 star standard, but in a understated and unflashy way. The location was also really nice with a decent beach and restaurants within walking distance and a pleasant town (Pissouri) a short car drive away. The resort was recommend to me by Travelbean (Hayley, I think) and was a perfect recommendation given the criteria given to her by me. The only disappointment was with the transfers. We were met by a taxi at the airport it did not have the two child seats in (as promised and stated on our voucher). When I asked this to be remedied for the return journey, the taxi which was provided meant that if we had strapped in the car seats, then an adult would have been left without a seatbelt. The taxi driver also had not put in the car seats and did not seem to know how to do so. We therefore travelled in both directions with the children on our laps with the seat belts around both of us. This would be unlawful in England and is dangerous. We recommend that you bring this up with the resort.

We have just returned from the holiday you booked for us at the Columbia Beach Resort in Cyprus. Apart from being 3hrs late arriving thanks to the French strike, the week was absolutely wonderful. We thought the hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed in, we also had perfect weather and the food was amazing. Thank you for organising everything and do keep us on your books - we would very much like to travel with you again.

Absolutely fabulous - everything was just as we wanted. Totally chilled out. Reception very good. Accommodation excellent and clean. Swimming pool was out of this world. Staff very efficient and helpful. The bar in the associated Columbia Beach Hotel next door was very sociable particularly during happy hour when cocktails were half price. Only draw back was the price of the food and drinks. We are used to higher prices in 5 star hotels but at £12 for a pint of beer or £5.00 for an iced coffee was ridiculous. With the resort being at less than 50% capacity they should consider reducing prices to encourage people to eat and drink there - staff were standing around with nothing to do as most people either went outside of the resort or took food and drink back to the accommodation. Also they advertise a free shuttle to Paphos Town which was not available when we stayed in early September - taxi is Euro40. Pissouri Bay is fairly quiet with some lovely restaurants - particularly the Linaki Restaurant. Pissouri Town is Euro9 taxi ride. No shops as such but a few restaurants and bars. Hideaway Restaurant may not look much but their steak with fried onions and mushrooms was fantastic. We would certainly recommend the Columbia Beach Resort.

The hotel was of extremely high quality and just as Travelbeam described. The hotel staff from the Housekeepers,Receptionists and Pool attendants could not do enough for you, they were very efficient and friendly nothing was to much trouble. The food in the hotel was first class and the restaurants provided a good mix of casual and formal dining. Room service was equally as good and again all staff were very efficient. The staff round the pool provided ice cold towels in the heat of the day and the frozen fruit which was lovely. The Spa was also very good and all the staff were very professional, the treatments were a little expensive and the treatments shorter than you would usually get in a UK Spa, but again it wasof a very high standard. If we were visiting Cyprus again we would certainly consider returning to the Columbia Beach Resort it was excellent.

I stayed at the hotel for 7 days. I thought the facilities were excellent, the staff could not have been more helpful and our room was lovely. I would definitely consider staying here again and we are going to look at going back next year. Everyone who manages and works at the Columbia Beach Resort should feel very proud that all their hard work has paid off with this particular guest. Thank you.

The hotel was amazing and the service was just as good. I recommend it highly, we normally stay in 5 star hotels in Dubai because they are hard to beat but this hotel was just as good at a fraction of the cost of the Dubai hotels. Would recommend flying business class the extra room on flight is worth it.

A most relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff were very attentive and responsive to any requirements. Food in both restaurants was excellent with plenty of choice. Some excellent and very reasonably priced Cyprus wines were available . We will certainly return again.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. The staff were amazing, efficient, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good, breakfasts were a feast, and we had dinner twice in the Apollo restaurant , twice because it was so good we wanted to take our friends there. The room was lovely, bathroom, spotless and the turn down service was much appreciated. The toiletries were excellent quality, and my husband loved the dressing gown and slippers! I would go again tomorrow if I could afford it, a classic example of you get what you pay for. Wonderful. Thank you so much for organising it.
