We always know the best way of combining the very latest special offers to your advantage or advising when is the most cost effective time to stay at a hotel.

Wealth of Information – Can I find out about children’s facilities, what each room type is like and what exactly is included in half board?

Yes. We are very clued up about our portfolio of hotels and add information to our website on a daily basis. We send every member of the team to the hotels we sell in Europe which means you can talk to a consultant with a personal and very recent experience of the hotel you are interested in.

Inspiration – Can you help me with ideas?

Yes. We are happy to provide recommendations or holiday ideas to help you make a decision. Just give us the brief and we can make instant suggestions. Peace of Mind – Can I request interconnecting rooms and a guaranteed car seat in the transfer?

Yes. We have special relationships with the properties we sell enabling us to make some definite guarantees about our products at the time of booking. However, not all special requests can be guaranteed, dependent on their nature. Just call us with your requests.

Family Luxury – Do you have any luxury hotels that are family friendly?

Yes. We personally select hotels that can make sure your family holiday is the best it can be.

Sublime Spas – I want to relax in a fantastic spa, what do you suggest?

A number of our hotels have spas that are out of this world.

Do you have a brochure?

Yes. Our ‘Luxury Hotels Europe and North Africa’ brochure is published each year and showcases the very best hotels we have to offer you.

Do you only offer hotels in Europe and North Africa?

We have been established for 18 years and specialise in arranging hotels in Europe & North Africa but can arrange trips to any hotel worldwide. We work with many hotels and resorts that are not featured on our website, if there is a particular property you are interested in please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to offer our advice. Just call us with your requests.

I want to book a holiday through you, what happens next?

You can book with us verbally or by email. To make a booking all the names (exactly as they appear on the passport) will be required.

How can I pay for my holiday?

A deposit is needed at the time of booking, payable by credit/debit card, bank transfer or cheque. For late bookings (within 10 weeks) full payment will be required.

When will I receive my confirmation and tickets?

We will send confirmation documents (including a receipt and a booking form that needs to be signed and returned to us) out to you within 24 hours by post or email. We will send travel documents out to you by post up to 2 weeks prior to your travel date (except for late bookings).

Can I see a photograph of the actual room I want to book?

We provide as many room images of each hotel/resort that we can, but please note that these are provided only as a guide to the furnishings and the style of the particular property. If you would like to see a photograph of a particular room type please contact us and we will do our utmost to provide one.

Is there any minimum stay requirement?

Most of the hotels we feature have a minimum stay requirement of 2-3 nights. Sometimes, particularly at busy periods, certain hotels have a minimum stay requirement of 5-7 nights.

Do you provide passport, visa and health requirements on your website?

Currently we do not publish in-depth information on our site, however we are happy to provide this information when requested, alternatively you may wish to visit the websites on our links page that contain specific advice & information.

Do you provide travel insurance?

We do not offer travel insurance. However we strongly advise that you take out a policy of insurance in order to cover you and your party against the cost of cancellation by you; the cost of assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness; loss of baggage and money; and other expenses.

Are the holidays you arrange financially protected?

Yes, the package holidays we arrange are ATOL protected. Travelbeam (David A.C. Barker t/a) holds an Air Travel Organisers Licence issued by the Civil Avaition Authority (ATOL No 9664). We also work with some of the most respected luxury tour operators in the UK and in these cases we act as their agents and protection will be provided by their ATOL Licences.

What about if I just want to just book hotel only, would that be ATOL protected?

The CAA's ATOL protection scheme is for package holidays that include an air element, therefore hotel only arrangements cannot be protected in this way. However, for your total protection we have arranged to financially protect these bookings by means of a bond with ABTA. On occassion we make hotel only bookings with our tour operator partners who, like us, are fully bonded members of ABTA and we ensure that these arrangements are also protected by ABTA. On occasion we make hotel only bookings directly with a hotel or their local agents, in this case your contract would be with the hotel and we would be acting as their agent (we would not be the principal). In all cases, before you confirm your booking we would make you aware of how we intended to make the reservations.

How do I log in to my account?

When you have confirmed a booking you will be able to view the details via our online account service. To be assigned a username & password to use this service please email leisure@travelbeam.co.uk.

What assistance do you offer disabled clients?

Travelbeam is not a specialist in proving accommodation for disabled clients. However we can give general advice about the suitability of particular properties for disabled or infirm clients or those with any special requirements. To help us ensure that any accommodation is suitable we will ask that specific information about any medical condition or disability be provided to us in writing before a booking is made. If you have serious disability, we recommend that you seek advice from a specialist tour operator.
